Le Coran se lit selon des règles très précises. On ne lit pas les versets coraniques comme on lit le journal ou une recette de cuisine. Ces règles sont consignées dans ce qu’on appelle la science du tajwîd (التَجْوِيد ), lequel s’entend comme la parfaite diction du Coran et l’embellissement de sa lecture. Allâh dit dans le Coran (sourate 73, verset 4) :
Et récite le Coran, lentement et clairement
Pour cela, il faut savoir donner à chaque lettre sa juste valeur, ce qui consiste à connaître et respecter parfaitement d’une part son point d’articulation (makhraj), d’autre part ses qualités et ses caractéristiques (sifah).
Khaled Bouchafaa a eu l’ingénieuse idée de dispenser des cours théoriques de tajwîd sur Internet pour un public anglophone. Son site s’intitule d’ailleurs Tajweed in English. Nous avons contacté Khaled Bouchafaa pour lui soumettre l’idée d’une version française de ces podcasts. Il s’agirait de retranscrire chaque cours, puis de le traduire en français, puis de le lire et de l’enregistrer. On pense à l’excellent logiciel gratuit Audacity. Khaled Bouchafaa est enthousiasmé par cette idée. Si des personnes sont partantes pour retranscrire, traduire et lire les cours, nous pourrons les soumettre à Khaled Bouchafaa afin qu’il consacre une partie francophone à son site.

Biographie en anglais de Khaled Bouchafaa
Khaled Bouchafaa has been teaching Quran and tajweed for the last 20 years in various Islamic colleges and masjids. Sheikh Khaled recites Quran with riwayat Hafs by the Shatibiyah tariq and riwayat Warsh by the Al-Azraq tariq. Currently, he is a teacher of Quran in the largest Islamic School of Australia, is a volunteer Imam and provides tajweed lessons in English and Arabic in his local area.
He has been authorised by the Qurra to teach this sacred knowledge of tajweed and Quran. He began his studies of Qiraat in Algeria (from Sheikh Sharati rhm who was the student of the famous Sheikh Abdul-Aziz abul Uyun as-Sud and from Sheikh Ahmed Ma’but who was the student of (Sheikh Bakri at Tarabishi) and acquired further knowledge from eminent Scholars of Qiraat in Damascus (Sheikh Abu Sulayman az Zabibi, Sheikh Abdur Razaq al Halabi and the Abu Usamah Basha Imam of Jami’ al Qitat). In addition, he has studied with Egyptian qaris (Sheikh Hassan Marzug al Jizzi) Must give credit to Sheikh Mutassim Al-Jarrah that have allowed to complete a khatmah in Hafs min tariq ashatibiyah and i have learned so much from him, jazahullahu khaira..
